My promises resemble me,
Like voices from some distant shore;
Incorehent mix of noises,
Lost and longing to hear some more.
Laughter, a sound in my head that tells me all is well
To go on in pain, knowing that tomorrow awaits my footsteps
Chasing dreams in a freefall, trying to breathe in a sand storm
What would it be like without this struggle?
If all was easy, would it be worth living at all?
